  We had dinner here tonight, and I had the famous pie and my partner had the chicken and mushroom pasta. Both meals were so tasty. All the staff were so friendly. We'll definitely be back :)

  We ate here last night and at the buffet this morning as we stayed at the Mermaid Waters Hotel overnight. Last night was TERRIBLE! It was unbearably loud with kids running around the tables screaming and yelling. It was also very hot. We moved tables to try to escape some of the noise but ended up getting the staff to bring our meals to our hotel room. Food was good and affordable. Staff were lovely. It was OK but not great. Won't be in a hurry to go back anytime soon. Breakfast was OK. It was quieter but very early.

  Amazing professional staff who actually are attentive & listen to their customer needs. Meal was so big, was offered a container for take home doggies bag. Love your work team!

  Hi,
  We booked a table for lunch yesterday for 20 people. As it was to be a special occasion to celebrate our mums life we booked the Lone Star as she loved going there. Upon arrival we found that we were booked on two table's not one.Everyone ordered lunch and we were disappointed with our meals. Steaks ordered medium and rare were overcooked and two people were sick after eating their seafood and vegetarian bowl m els. Staff were busy but helpful and pleasant. The quality of the food has gone downhill since our last visit and we are disappointed by this as we have always enjoyed the venue.

  One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten in QLD and indeed complimented the chef and kitchen staff!!!!! Bar staff are welcoming and friendly and we felt comfortable and welcoming.

  Went for lunch: food took a while to come out, and was disappointing for the price. Despite the wait, the chips didn't taste fresh at all. The ribs were okay, but nothing great for the price.

  I had not eaten at a Lone Star since the original in Parramatta, many years ago. The experience was even better than the last. Service with a smile, food arrived in good time and the meals were an extremely generous portion, and delicious. My kids loved the concept of the peanuts. It brought back many memories of learning how to crack them open and enjoy eating them before the main meal arrived - such a treat. So if you are allergic to peanuts, don't consider dining or complain, like the silly lady in this review board below simply because she was allergic . I am allergic to horses, therefore I would not take myself to Outback Spectacular and give the show a poor Google rating. This is a fantastic, fun, family restaurant. Crowded - so book ahead. Well worth it.
