  Our property manager was very nice and highly professional all the time, we were renting a house not far from their office. We may have made a late payment 1 or 2 times by a few days but she was completely fine about it and treated us with respect.
  
  However we did experience some issues with their online rent payment collection method. On one occasion one of the tenants who wasn't on the lease was called and verbally abused by an incredibly rude older lady. She issued threats and and was totally unprofessional. It was all because the transaction was initially rejected and they were charged a $10 or $15 fee on the repeat transaction. This was not our mistake but a mistake by their own merchant.
  
  She threatened to evict us without any prior warning and yelled through the phone. We later spoke to the property manager who informed us it was the business owner's (John Henderson) wife. While real estate agents in general are underhanded and dishonest we didn't expect to be treated this way as tenants renting a property. We never received an apology from her.
  
  Not only is it uncalled for to treat paying customers this way, but to talk openly about someones lease to another person who isn't a party to it is very unprofessional. I am writing this review as I have learned now that approximately two years later one of the tenants has been given a bad reference by this business.
  
  I would highly recommend avoiding allowing this business to manage anybody's property if the owner's wife if still in charge of the property management section. All of the other staff working there that we encountered were wonderful!

  I have been renting through the Professionals at Mermaid Beach for the last 3 years and have had a great experience in doing so. Our property manager Larissa made the moving in process easy, was always on top of any maintenance issues I had and once the lease was up went out of her way to help me find a new property to rent in the same area. Larrisa and the property management team have been a pleasure to deal with from day one.
